This is a great opportunity to own the Wrenn W2226 "City of London" Locomotive in BR Maroon, running number 46245.Most examples from this era are "play worn" this is not, and has seen some  layout use in my opinion. This example is from the Mid Period 3 Wrenn, Basildon build (Circa 1975/6) with all transfers and lining in place. This example has metal rimmed bogies on the Locomotive and tender, correct for  late P2 and P3/4 Basildon build. Other features include the use of the  green 3 pole armature and late BR motif on plain maroon tender. 

Comes complete with original box, tissue, packing rings, Hornby Dublo coupling conversion kit and blue Wrenn Manual. 

Overall Condition is "excellent to near mint" for their age.
