This is a great opportunity to own the Wrenn W2210 "Mallard" A4 Class Locomotive in LNER Blue, running number 4468. Introduced by Wrenn, Basildon in Period 2 (Triang/Wrenn) this famous Locomotive continued in production until 1992 when they closed. This particular example is from the early Period 4 build. As with all P4 Locomotives it has "metal rimmed" bogie wheels  throughout. Has not seen layout use in my opinion, hence the high grading. 

The Locomotive/tender comes complete with original P4 box, tissue, packing rings,  and blue Instruction Manual. The bottom of the inner box is stamped "Packer No 2 00236" in red ink,  denoting 36th Week, 1982 early P4 Basildon issue.  . 

The Locomotive/tender/box are " near mint " for their age.
