This is an excellent example of the Hornby Dublo  3226 "City of Liverpool" in BR Maroon, running number 46247. It has the late BR tender crest and is for 3 Rail operation. Only made by Meccano Ltd between 1961/5 it is Rare to find today in this condition. Most examples are badly "play worn" this is not and has seen minimal layout use in my opinion. Has standard H/D plastic tender coupling

Comes complete in original box and includes packing rings, tissue, instructions and test tag M40.
