This is an excellent example of the Wrenn W2267 "Lamport & Holt" 4-6-2 Merchant Navy Class Locomotive in BR Blue, running number 35026. It is assumed that 800 of these were issued between 1982 - 1990, although I believe as a collector over the years, the figure is far less. This example is from the1989 build and has the sharper lining and early BR tender crest. The Locomotive is not "play worn" like many of its counterparts and has seen limited layout use in my opinion.  

Comes complete with Period 4 box, tissue, packing rings and blue instruction leaflet. The bottom of the inner box is stamped "Packer No2 89414" " in black ink, indicating 14th Week, 4th Month, 1989 as  Wrenn, Basildon issue.  

Condition of Locomotive/tender/box is "near mint to mint" for their age.
