This is an excellent example of the Wrenn W2267 "Lamport & Holt" 4-6-2 Merchant Navy Class Locomotive in BR Blue, running number 35026. It is assumed that 800 of these were issued between 1982 - 1990, although I believe as a collector over the years, the figure is far less. This example is from the1982 and is not "play worn" like many of its counterparts and has seen limited layout use in my opinion. As with all Period 4 Wrenn Locos, has "metal rimmed" bogie and tender wheels throughout.  

Comes complete with Period 4 box, tissue, packing rings and blue instruction leaflet. The bottom of the inner box is stamped "Packer No 1 00222" " in red ink, indicating 22nd Week,1982 as  Wrenn, Basildon issue.  

Condition of Locomotive/tender/box is "near mint " for their age.
