This is a superb example of the Hornby Dublo 3224 8F.LMR  2-8-0  Locomotive in BR Black, running number 48094 for 3 Rail operation. Most examples today are Play Worn through continuous layout use however this example is not and has seen minimal layout use in my opinion. The tender has the late BR crest and peak performance Ring Field motor which is correct for this Meccano issue. ONLY ISSUED BETWEEN 1961/4 AND WAS THE LAST OF THE 8F RANGE THAT MECCANO ISSUED..

The Locomotive and tender comes in its original  box and includes tissue, packing rings, Instruction booklet, test tag (No CT50), and tube of grease..  .
