This is a superb example of the much sought after Wrenn W.2282 "Sparrow Hawk" A4 Class Locomotive in NE Wartime Black running number 4463. Only 98 were issued by Wrenn, Basildon between 1989 and 1992, hence this is VERY RARE. The transfers are quite distinctive in rich yellow with red highlights, quite different from the earlier Peregrine and Gannet A4 Locomotives in Black which Wrenn, Basildon issued in relative large quantities. Has seen minimal layout use if any, and all transfers in place.

This particular example is from the original 1989 build of 75.

Comes complete with late Period 4 Box, tissue, packing rings, blue instruction Manual. The bottom of the inner box is stamped   "89414" indicating 14th Week, 4th month, 1989 as date of Basildon issue.

Condition of Locomotive/Tender is "near mint to mint" for their age.
