This is the standard grey version of the W4635P "Higgs" Coal wagon, running number 85. This was one of the only Wrenn Wagons issued by the Wrenn, Basildon factory over all 4 Periods (1966 - 1992). Although several thousand were produced they did come in a range of colour variations, considering the GREY alone, 3. These are Standard, slightly darker grey and Dark Grey.

Others include:

Orange/Rust, Green, Dark Brown and the two most rare being Yellow and Beige. Of the two latter I have only seen 2 genuine examples over the years.

The Wagon was issued under W4635 and W4635 box number stamps.

This P3 issue (7.5p type box) of the standard grey comes with yellow plastic insert.

Condition is "near mint" considering age.
