This is the most popular Wrenn W5074 "Bassetts Ltd Tarred Slag" Coal Wagon with Load in Dark Grey, running number 77. Introduced by Basildon in Period 4 just under 700 were produced before the closure in 1992. Why Rare - This was supplied in the Long Box version (W7304 type) with yellow plastic insert and yellow card pieces (2) correct for the period .It is my view as a collector that less than 50 appeared in this format out of the Wrenn, Basildon factory.  As with all Period 4 Wagons it has metal rimmed wheels.

Condition of the Wagon/box is " near mint" for their age.
