This a a great example of the Very Rare Wrenn W2304 "Wadebridge" S/L Locomotive in Southern Region Green, running number 21C107.ONLY 93 WERE ISSUED BY THE BASILDON FACTORY BETWEEN 1991 - 1992 BEFORE FACTORY CLOSURE.

This example is from the early 1991 build and has seen minimal layout use in my opinion. All transfers/lining in place and as with all Period 4 Wrenn Locomotives has metal rimmed bogies and tender wheels.

For those collecting the colour of the top box inner is cream and the 3 pole armature is brown, this was close to the changeover from the traditional green of earlier Period 4 Locomotives across the range.

This was issued prior to the factory stamp being available and hence has the unique factory typed label  W2305 S/L"WADEBRIDGE" S.R. GREEN

Comes in a late Period 4 Box, and includes tissue, packing rings and blue instruction manual. The bottom of the inner box is stamped Packer No 91 2 6 9 indicating 6th Week, 2nd Month, 1991 as Basildon issue date.

Condition of Loco/tender/box is "near mint" considering age
