This is an excellent example of the Wrenn W2231 Class 08 Diesel in BR Green, running number D3763 for 2 Rail operation. Most were produced by the Wrenn, Basildon factory in early Period 3, very popular for shunting duties on any OO Gauge Layout. Sales unfortunately dropped at the latter end of Period 3 hence few made it in to Period 4 and these are becoming rare to find today in this condition.

This example is from the early Period 3 era , circa 1972/3, and has seen minimal layout use in my opinion. 

Comes complete with original box, packing rings, tissue, Hornby Dublo coupling conversion kit and single page instruction sheet. The inner box has the normal sellotape residue marks denoting P3 Basildon issue. 

Condition of Diesel/box is "near mint" for their age.
