This is a great example of the Wrenn W2218A 2-6-4 Tank Locomotive in BR Black, running number 80064. This is rare compared to "80033" versions which were produced in many thousands by both Mecanno (Hornby Dublo) and Wrenn, Basildon. This version has the full Boiler Lining and early BR crest. The BR Black 2-6-4 Tank Locomotives were produced from 1983 until Basildon closure in 1992 and although just over 500 were reported as issued, I believe the figure was less in my opinion.

Ideal for the collection and/or BR operations on your OO Gauge Layout. This example has seen minimal layout use if any in my opinion.

The Locomotive comes in a Period 4  box  and includes packing rings, tissue, and blue Instruction Manual. The stamp on the bottom of the inner box is "Packer No 3 07414" indicating 14th week, 4th Month, 1987 as Basildon issue date.  

Condition of the Locomotive/box is "near mint to mint" for their age.
