This is the much sought after W.2414 "City of Nottingham BR (Ex - LNER) Black Locomotive, running number 46251. This was one of the last LIMITED EDITIONS to be issued by the Wrenn, Basildon factory, and production only reached 182 of the planned 250. I have noted on this example the front boiler number transfer is missing, however their is no sign that the factory ever fitted this, and it does not detract away from this great Wrenn W.2414 example in my opinion.

Period 4 Limited Box including tissue and packing rings stamped "Packer No 2 90103" indicating week 3rd week, 1st month, 1990 as date of Basildon issue.

Condition is of the Loco/Tender is  "near mint ", box is "excellent " considering age. A small amount of staining to the box has downgraded it to excellent and this is reflected in the price offered.
