This is a superb example of the Wrenn W2221 "Cardiff Castle" in BR Green, running number 4075. This was the first Locomotive Wrenn, Basildon produced, was issued over all 4 Periods of production and ended in 1990. This example is from the mid Period 3 era circa 1975/6. The tender has the late BR emblem. Most examples are play worn from this period, this is not and has seen minimal layout use in my opinion. All transfers and lining in place.

Comes complete with  P3 box, tissue, packing rings, Hornby Dublo Coupling Conversion kit, and blue instruction manual. The underneath of the inner box has the familiar sellotape residue marks indicating Period 3 Basildon issue.

Condition of the Locomotive/tender/box is "near mint” for their age.
