This is an excellent  example of the Wrenn W2224 2-8-0 8F Locomotive in BR Black, running number "48073" .Although produced over all 4 Periods 1966 - 1992., this  example is from the P4 build (circa 1987) and  has the brighter numbers compared to its previous W2224 counterparts from previous Periods. Many examples are " play worn", however this is not for its age and has seen minimal layout use in my opinion.. As with all P3/4 Wrenn Locomotives has "metal rimmed" bogie and tender wheels. The tender has the late BR totem, as standard..

The Locomotive/tender comes complete with P4 box, tissue, packing rings ,and blue Instruction Manual. The underneath of the inner box is stamped "Packer No 3 07519" in black ink  indicating 19th Week, 5th Month, 1987 as  Basildon factory issue...

Condition of the Locomotive/tender/ box is "near mint ",  considering their age.
