This is a superb example of the Wrenn W2261 "Black Watch" Royal Scot Class Locomotive in LMS Black, running number 6102. Although approx 1500 were produced by Wrenn, Basildon in Period 4, it is rare to find them today in "near mint" condition as this example is. In my experience most are "play worn" this is not and has only seen minimal layout use if any.    .

This has the standard green type 3 pole armature correct for this 1982 issue.. All transfers and lining in place..

Comes complete with late P4 box, packing rings, tissue and both Blue Instruction Manual and single page Scot Instruction Sheet. The bottom of the inner is stamped "Packer No 6" in red ink indicating 1982 as original Basildon issue date.

Overall Condition of Loco/tender/box is "near mint" considering their age.
