This is a superb example of the Rare Wrenn W2260A "Caledonian" Royal Scot Class Locomotive in LMS Maroon, running number 6141. Although Wrenn Basildon production spanned from 1982-1990,a minimum of only 232 are claimed to have been produced by the Wrenn, Basildon factory before closure in 1992.

This example is from the 1986 Basildon build and in my opinion, has seen minimal layout use.. 

The Locomotive/tender comes complete with Period 4 box, packing rings, tissue, single Royal Scot Instruction sheet and blue Instruction Manual. The underneath of the inner box is stamped "Packer No 3 03612, indicating 12th week,3rd Month, 1986 as Basildon issue date.

Condition of the Locomotive/tender "Near Mint" box is " Excellent" considering age.  

Note : I have downgraded the top box to excellent due to some box wear over the years, and hence the valuation affects this.
