This is a superb opportunity to own the Wrenn W.2289 "Canadian Pacific" Streamlined Merchant Navy Class Locomotive in Wartime SR Black, running 21C5. This "near mint " example is the from the1989 production run at Wrenn, Basildon and Production records indicate that only 102 examples were produced in the later years of Period 4 (1989/92). This Loco has seen minimal Layout use in my opinion, all transfers in place.

The Locomotive/Tender comes in a  Period 4 box, correctly stamped (both box ends W.2289 S/L "CANADIAN PACIFIC" S.R. BLACK), and includes tissue, packing rings, and Blue Instruction Manual. The  stamp on the underneath of the inner box is "Packer No 2 89625" indicating 25th Week, 6th Month, 1989 as Basildon issue date.   

Overall Condition of Loco/tender/box is "near mint " for their age.

A truly superb Merchant Navy Class Locomotive to add to the collection, and/or for those of us that are running layouts, a great addition to the Locomotive stock.
