This is a superb example of the  Rare Wrenn W2279/5P 2-6-4  Tank Locomotive, in B.R. Black. Running number is 80151 and has the early BR crest The W2297/5P was only issued as a 5 Pole version. Production figures indicate  518 of these were manufactured from 1987 t0 1992  before Wrenn, Basildon closure. This particular example shown is from the 1990 build. As with all Period 4 Wrenn Locomotives it has "metal rimmed" bogie wheels, with all transfers in place and minimum layout use..  

The Tank Locomotive comes complete in a Period 4  box, and includes tissue, packing rings, and blue Instruction Manual. The stamp on the bottom of the inner box is "Packer No 2 901043" indicating 43rd week, 10 month, 1990 as date of original Wrenn, Basildon issue. This was also close to the first issue of the 6 numbered date stamp I believe.  .   

Overall Condition Locomotives/Boxes is "  near mint to mint  " for their age.
