The  W2237 "Lyme Regis" 4-6-2 Locomotive in Southern Region Green is unique in the Wrenn range as it was the only Rebuilt which Wrenn produced in this colour. Running number is 21C109. In reality of course it never ran in this livery, however, it really looks impressive on the layout drawing Wrenn Southern Coaches/Pullmans or in the collection. Introduced in Period 3,(circa 1973)  just over 3000 were produced, mainly in Period 3, and are becoming difficult find today without being  "play worn". This  example is not has seen minimal layout use and is from the 1975/6.Basildon production build in my opinion....

The Locomotive comes in a  Period 3 box,, and includes packing rings, tissue,  Hornby Dublo coupling conversion kit and blue Instruction Manual. The  underneath of the inner box has the usual sellotape residue marks indicating Wrenn, Basildon Period 3 issue.. 

Overall Condition of the Locomotive/tender/box is  " near mint  ", for their age.
