This is a superb example of the  Wrenn W2270 B.R. 2-6-4 Tank Locomotive, running number 80135. The Locomotive in BR Green was introduced by Wrenn, Basildon in early Period 4,(circa 1983),  with limited production mainly up to 1987 prior to Basildon closure in 1992.This particular example is from the 1984 build and has the pronounced orange lining and satin finish.  All transfers and lining in place and has seen mjnimal layout use if any in my opinion. .

The Locomotive comes complete with  Period 4 issued box,  tissue, packing rings and blue Instruction Manual. The code stamp on the bottom of the inner box is "Packer No 3 10441 in black ink indicating week 41, 10th month, 1974 as  Basildon issue date.

Condition of the Locomotive/box is "near mint to mint” for their age.
