This is a superb example of the Wrenn W2220 GWR 2-6-4 Tank Locomotive in Great Western Green Livery, running number 8230. Introduced by Wrenn, Basildon in 1973 (Period 3), this example is from that period.  As with all Period 3 Wrenn Locomotives it has "metal rimmed" bogie wheels throughout. Many examples of this Locomotive tend to be "play worn" this is not, and has seen minimal layout use in my opinion..

The Tank Locomotive  comes in its original P3 box, and includes tissue, packing rings, Hornby Dublo coupling conversion kit and Instruction Manual. The bottom of the inner box has the usual sellotape residue marks indicating Basildon Period 3 issue (Circa 1973/4).

Condition of the Locomotive/box is "near mint " for their age.
