This is a superb example of the Wrenn W.2287 "Westward Ho" West Country Locomotive in BR Green, running number 34036. Only 280 of these Locomotives were produced by Wrenn from 1989 to 1992, and this example is one from the 1990 build. Has seen minimal layout use in my opinion, all transfers and lining in place.

The Locomotive comes complete in a late Period 4 box, which includes packing rings, tissue and blue Instruction Manual. The top box ends are correctly stamped W.2287 W/C "WESTWARD HO" B.R. GREEN. The stamp on the underneath of the inner box is "Packer No 2 901042" which indicates 42nd week, 10th month, 1990 Basildon issue date..

Condition of the Locomotive/Tender/box is " near mint to mint ",  for their age.
