This is a "near mint " example of the RARE Wrenn W.2415 "Lord Dowding", Rebuilt Battle of Britain Class Limited Edition Locomotive in BR Green , running number 34052, with late BR tender crest. Introduced by Basildon in late Period 4  this Locomotive is certificated No 70 of a planned Limited Edition production run of 250, although only 182 were actually issued by the  Basildon, Factory.

Some of these Limited Edition Locomotives have been copied between 1992 - 2002 (after the Basildon factory closure) so please be careful when purchasing like. 

With the Locomotive/tender, the following is included;

• Period 4 Box, the underneath of the inner box is stamped "Packer No 3 90939" indicating 39th week, 9th month, 1990 as date of Wrenn, Basildon issue.
• Certificate No 70 
• Plaque/Length of Rail/Wooden Plinth
• Instruction Manual, Packing rings and tissue

Condition of the Locomotive/tender/box  is " near mint to mint" considering their age. 

This will appeal; to the Wrenn Collector and/or those running BR passenger operations on any "OO Gauge" Layout.
