This is the very popular 0-6-0 R1 Tank in SR Green, running number 1127. Introduced by Wrenn, Basildon in Period 3, this continued in production through to 1990 in Period 4. This particular example is from the early late Period 3 era, circa 1978/9.

As with all Wrenn R1 Tank Locomotives it has a robust plastic body and metal chassis, and is seen as an essential part of Southern Region freight operations including shunting on any "OO Gauge" layout.

The Locomotive comes complete with  original Period 3 box , tissue, packing rings, Hornby Dublo coupling conversion kit and  Instruction Sheet. ..
