This is an excellent example of the Hornby Dublo EDL7 Tank Locomotive in LNER Green, running number "9596" for 3 Rail operation. Introduced by Meccano, Liverpool in1948 this survived in production until 1953. Very difficult to find today in this condition. Key points include:

Running numbers on both buffer bars

Gold letters/numbers with red shading

Open Bunker (no coal)

Standard plastic H/D coupling on rear

HORNBY sticker on rear of Locomotive

Comes complete with original standard H/D blue faded box with age and blue packing inserts.

Overall Condition is "Excellent" considering age.
