This is a great example of the unused Hornby Dublo 5030 Island Platform kit in yellow with grey canopy. The two nuts/screws which connect the ramps to the central platform are included. Assembly instructions are shown on the inside of the top box. Made by Meccano in the mid 1950,s prior to closure of the factory. The kit has never been assembled in my opinion and this reflects the condition stated.

Why RARE?

The picture illustrates the seating as yellow As the Kit colour) however most examples I have seen over the years have been green coloured.  This is a variation to the standard issued box by Meccano.

Condition is " near mint" in my opinion.
