This is a superb example of the Wrenn, Basildon late issued W2403 Scot Class "Rifle Brigade" in LMS Black, running number 6146. This is a Limited Edition (No 239) of a planned production from Wrenn, Basildon of 250 and is a great example of this Scot Class Locomotive from that run. The majority were produced between 1987 - 1989.with only 243 issued of the 250 planned. This was the only Scot Class Locomotive issued as a LIMITED EDITION. As with all Period 4 Locomotives/tenders it has "metal rimmed wheels" throughout. Has seen MINIMAL layout use IF ANY in my opinion.
