This is a superb example of the Wrenn W2405 "Duchess of Athol" Coronation Class Limited Edition Locomotive in BR Green, running number 46231.This was introduced in 1988, with just under the 250 planned production achieved by the Wrenn, Basildon factory.  ALL EXAMPLES OF THIS LOCOMOTIVE SHOULD HAVE 1988 BOTTOM BOX STAMPS. This is certificated No 003, from the production run.

Locomotive/tender/box are " near mint" for their age  in my opinion.
