This is a superb example of the  Wrenn W2270 B.R. 2-6-4 Tank Locomotive, running number 80135. The Locomotive in BR Green was introduced by Wrenn, Basildon in early Period 4,(circa 1982),  with limited production up to Basildon closure in 1992.This particular example is from the 1983 build and has the finer lighter orange lining. All transfers and lining in place and this example has seen little layout use if any, hence my high rating. .

The Locomotive comes complete with  Period 4 issued box,  tissue, packing rings and blue Instruction Manual. The code stamp on the bottom of the inner box is "Packer No 3 06326 in black ink indicating week 26, 6th month, 1983 as  Basildon issue date..

Condition of the Locomotive/box is "near mint to mint” for their age.
